Sri Lanka 2014-2015

In September 2014 I started a postgraduate in "international cooperation between northern and southern countries" at the social college Leuven, Belgium. The course contains two months of classes about globalization, sustainable development, project management, intercultural cooperation, languages and so on. After the two months of theoretical preparation all students go on a six-month internship abroad. I’m one of the nine students who are doing the internship in Sri Lanka. Together with Elise, my duo partner, I live in Matara in the Southern province. I am teaching in different schools and organizations here, but I’m also doing research for my thesis. At the end of April we go back home and have two more months to take exams and finish our thesis. I’m sure that by that time I will have a whole bunch of wonderful experiences and meet many unforgettable people.
